I yap about this all the time.
These are my non-negotiables. They’re routine, like brushing my teeth or showering. I find many skip over it completely. This is how you build relationships. Building relationships can open doors you didn’t even know existed. For example… My friend Camila reached out to me a month or so ago. She asked if I’d be interested in speaking at a Click Funnels event here in Vegas. I told her, “Thank you for thinking go me! And ABSOLUTELY!” So…. I’ll be on stage tomorrow speaking at a Click Funnels event If you’re not in Vegas…. No worries. They’re streaming it online for $27. 100% of proceeds are donated to Straight Up Abilities: Empowering individuals with disabilities through the performing arts. I’m speaking on a panel with a handful of other entrepreneurs. This happened because I built relationships with other entrepreneurs. My buddy Conrad who I yap about in these emails is a friend I met online. He bought an ebook of mine in like 2012 or 2013. He lived in Vegas and one day we got coffee. We’ve been good friends ever since. He moved to Atlanta in August, though. In fact, I drove him to the airport as they moved across country. My friend Audrey is a fellow entrepreneur who I met in a Facebook group in 2015. We met in person in 2016. She and I chat every single day. 7 days a week. We share ideas, struggles, problem solve, hold each other accountable, and constantly brainstorming together. One last example from my buddy Mark. We’ve yet to meet in person, but connected online late last year. He lives in Green Bay. I’ve shared that Lambeau is my #1 sports bucket list stadium. He happens to have season tickets.
