It finally happened.
If you follow me on social, you know I yap about the Digital Product Challenge often.
When you take the Challenge, I become your first paying customer.
It’s my idea of a “carrot on a stick” to inspire, fast, imperfect action.
Anytime, someone emails me their finished product…
I make a post on social media about it.
I’ve been publically tracking the numbers.
Yesterday, it happened…
100 people have officially launched their own digital product through the Digital Product Challenge.
(cue the confetti canyons)
I relaunched this Challenge last May with one goal:
To help 1,000 people launch their own product.
To help people kick procrastination in the teeth, and punch self doubt in the nose.
And today? 100 people have done that (actually 101, now)
Which is wild AF to me.
I had the constant “Will anyone even buy this thing?” before I launched it.
I may or may not have refreshed my email 237x times that day waiting for that 1st sales notification.
Then someone bought.
That first sales changes things.
It rewires your something in your brain.
You look at the world differently.
It gives you confidence.
I believed.
That maybe making money on the interwebz was possible.
That maybe I could actually build a business working from home (pants optional).
That maybe I could enjoy picking my kids up from school, or escaping to LA for a mid-week vacation without asking permission.
And now I’ve helped 100 people have their own version of that powerful moment.
Some made $7.
Others made hundreds.
A few made 4 figures during their launch.
Regardless, they all started.
They took the leap.
And have now proved to themselves that they could finish something.
That’s the magic.
And that’s why this Challenge means so much to me.
