I had an idea at church on Sunday.
I wanted to do an end-of-the-year bundle.
I run these bundle offers once a month.
My bundles are similar, but never the same.
These are a great cash injection for your business.
Highly, highly recommend you run these in your business.
Your bundle needs to have a “reason” though.
I see so many just running bundles for the sake of running bundles.
It’s much more profitable when you have a “WHY” behind it.
Here’s the thing:
The why can be anything.
In October, I ran a 24 hour bundle for it being the 100 day anniversary of launching Threads Unleashed.
I ran another bundle for hitting x,xxx followers on Threads.
I ran one in November for Black Friday.
This week’s one was for the end of the year.
I was gonna call it “Goodbye 2024”, but felt that had a more negative tone, so I went with “Hello 2025”.
It was a bundle of 9 of my products for $25.
Mistakes I Made
I made a handful, here’s what I should have done differently:
- I quickly threw it together, and didn’t have an upsell (probably $200 – $500 in lost sales)
- I didn’t talk about it on Threads much
- I did NOT pre-sale this
I sent an email to my list on Sunday afternoon about it.
My sales always suffer when I don’t pre-sell it.
It’s crazy what an email and a couple of social posts the day before you release something can do.
SUNDAY: 1 SALE ($25) from the email I sent out.
That hurt my pride & ego.
I thought, “maybe people are busy with the holidays”
I also thought, “I suck. I knew it. Everyone is gonna find out I’m a fraud” (honestly, that thought crossed my mind)
I sent another email on Monday, and posted about it a couple of times on IG Stories.
MONDAY: 14 SALES ($350)
- 4 sales from the email I sent on Sunday
- 7 sales from the email I sent on Monday
- 1 sale from IG Stories
- 2 random sales that didn’t show where they came from.
Monday’s results gave me a boost in confidence I desperately needed.
I pushed it hard yesterday. I wrote 2 long form Threads (these were copy & pasted from months ago) pitching the offer at the end of the Thread.
TUESDAY: 27 SALES ($675)
- 17 sales from email
- 4 sales from IG (bio & Stories – I use different links to track each)
- 4 sales from Threads (3 from 1 long form, and 1 from another)
- 2 sales that had no tracking (for some reason).
TOTAL SALES: 44 ($1,100)
For some reason, the funnel building tool I use (Funnel Kit) showed 42 sales, but Woo Commerce (which Funnel Kit sits “on top of”) shows 44 sales, which is the accurate number.
Wrapping It Up
I always hit it hard on the last day of a launch.
People wait till the last minute, it’s human nature.
I sent an email at 9 pm and 11 pm last night (BTW, they were the SAME email, just a different subject line)
I wasn’t sure how they’d perform with it being NYE.
I made 6 sales from 9-10 last night.
I made 1 sale from 10-11.
I made 6 sales from 11-12.
13 sales in the last 3 hours!
Proving once again: People wait until the last minute.
When launching ANYTHING, make sure you hit it hard the last day, especially those last few hours.
One last thing…
You’ll notice the far majority of my sales came from email (69%), so if you’re not leveraging email, I would put a heavy focus on that in 2025.
