We had a double header today.
Our game last week was cancelled, due to rain/lightning.
First game?
We dominated and won 2-0 (Ashton scored his 1st goal this season).
Our 2nd game?
We got whooped, 5-0.
The kids were exhausted.
It was 95 degrees, and felt like we were playing in an air fryer.
The 2nd team was better, faster, more experienced, and less tired (it was their 1st game).
It reminded me of a lot of Creators I see online.
They hit tit hard with intensity right out of the gate.
Posting daily Reels (2-3x a day), married to their phone, and trying to “beat the algorithm”.
They “win” at first but then burnout.
The lost momentum and confidence.
They feel like everyone else is running circles around them.
Here’s the thing about business….
You don’t need to go full beast mode every day.
That’s not sustainable.
It’s about building a system, something working for you ’round the clock.
