Are you your own worst enemy, {first_name}?
I most certainly am.
We tend to doubt ourselves and question our decisions far too often.
Last week, I had a conversation with a guy over Facebook DMs.
My Facebook Reels caught his attention, and he reached out to me last week.
We’ve never chatted before.
He works a full-time job as a financial analyst with ZERO online experience.
Truly a wet behind the ears, beginner.
His dream is to build a business educating “young working class ages 25-40 who need/want an advisor/money coach to keep them stay consistent and disciplined with their money goals“.
He plans to do this with digital products — ebooks, courses, trainings, and a membership site.
I suggested he write an ebook solving a specific problem for a specific person.
After a few messages back and forth, I suggested an ebook on how he improved his credit score by XX points in XX months.
This quote comes to mind:
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”
I see so many entrepreneurs with these audacious goals and these massive plans (not a bad thing, BTW), and they’re confused, overwhelmed and no clue where to start.
I like to start from square #1 — Focus on getting your first few customers and build off that.
At 7:20 am on Sunday, he joined my 48 Hour Ebook Challenge.
On Sunday afternoon, he sent me this message;
He doubted himself.
He didn’t think it was possible to have written and published an ebook in 48 hours, as this was brand new territory for him.

Yet, he pushed through those doubts.
Mind you, this was done over a holiday weekend.

There are many lessons here, but the big takeaway is this:
You’re busy doubting yourself when you have people who rely on you AND are inspired by you.
They’re waiting for you to unleash your magic.
They’re craving the help that only you can offer.
They’re suffering and need help.
And you’re lolly gagging around waiting, wishing, wanting AND WASTING your time, money and energy.
