I want to make a bold prediction.

Build the business YOU want to build.

Not the one the Greedy Gurus say is “best”, or what you “should” build.

I’ve fallen in this trap before.

And it’s cost me time, money, stress, anxiety and kicking the cat…and I don’t even have a cat (sorry neighbor)

Design the business around your life, not the other way around.

I have no desire;

To DM strangers 3 hours a day on Facebook
To have a calendar lit up like a Christmas tree
To spend thousands on ads to a complicated 17-step funnel
To have back-to-back-to-back-to-back Zoom calls on a motherfucking Tuesday (or any day for that matter)

I have no desire to work more than 3-4 hours a day.

The rest of the time is spent working on myself and being the best fucking Dad to Ava & Ashton.

I have no aspirations for millions (from the business, no; investments, yes)

I want a simple, and fun to run business.

A One Man Brand with a couple of VAs.

Or maybe a One Dad Brand be better?

Designed around creating content, as that is my zone of genius.

That is what I have heaps of fun doing.

Selling lower priced digital products that solve a specific problem for a specific person.

Something they can put into action quickly.

Provide them a quick win, so they’re much more likely to purchase something else from me.

It’s 5x – 12x times easier to sell to a current/past customer than it is to sell to a new prospect.

I’m reminded by this Wayne Gretzky quote that I share often;

“I skate to where the puck is going, not where it has been”

I predict we will see a big push for lower priced digital products over the next 6 – 18 months.

With an inevitable recession, it’s not that bold of a prediction.

Just my $0.02.
