Confession: I missed my 4:15 ritual

It all started at 7:30 this morning…

It started with “just swap funnel builders” (which sounds as innocent as “just one more episode” of Landman at 11:30 pm)

I’ve been having tech issues the last 5-6 weeks.

I yap about it on social often.

My current system — when it’s working — it’s tough to beat.

It’s the Ferrari of funnel builders.

I have tracking links, so I know where every sale comes from.

It’s literally a “money machine” that works for me ’round the clock.

The thing is…

It’s build on WordPress.

A fantastic platform, and they say 42% of the websites on the internet are built on WordPress.

However, it’s quite technical.

And I suck at tech.

It’s either hire a developer that can fix things when they break (I’m too frugal for that)

Or move platforms.

I’ve been testing a couple different platforms.

In fact, I’m running ads to 3 of the exact same sales pages, all built on different platforms. I want to see which one converts the best.

Right now, my current system is winning, by a lot.

I started playing around with Thrive Cart today, a shopping cart platform.

I’ve scaled back by ads the last few weeks, as my trust in my system is wavering.

I posted 1 IG Story today.

Zero Reels.

And a few scheduled posts on Threads.

…The money machine is working today.

A screenshot from 7:00 pm.

But here’s the hard truth:

Tech overwhelm is one of the fastest ways to kill momentum.

And momentum? It’s the secret sauce for what we do.

I’ve felt the drag these last few weeks.

The endless comparison.

The second-guessing.

The “let me test one more thing before I commit” to a new platform.

It’s all just fancy procrastination wearing a productivity hat.

And here’s how I know that…

I send my email every day at 4:15.

Today? This one’s going out after 7:00 PM.

Not because I didn’t have something to say — but because I let the funnel fiddling steal my focus.

Momentum doesn’t vanish in one big moment.

It drips away quietly while we’re tweaking fonts, chasing “better,” or stuck watching another damn tutorial video.

So this is your reminder (and mine):

Protect your momentum at all costs.

Pick a plan/tool. Stick with it long enough to see results.

Perfect is a pipe dream. Progress pays.

Adam
