This might seem painfully obvious to some of you.
Last July, I started training Jiu Jitsu.
I have been open about how I get my ass kicked.
For the first 8 months, I went twice a week. Typically Monday & Tuesday mornings.
The kids went back to school April 6th.
Since then, I have been training 3-4 times a week.
My progress in the last month has skyrocketed.
I now train Monday, Wednesday, Friday and sometimes Saturdays.
I am getting my ass kicked a whole lot less now.
And damn, is that a boost in confidence.
Who would of thunk it…
The more you practice something, the better you get.
This applies to every aspect of life.
Publishing content online…
Hitting the gym…
Brushing your teeth…
Communicating with your partner…
Playing an instrument…
Writing emails….
At first, you’re going to suck.
The second time you’ll suck a little bit less.
The third time you’ll suck less than the previous time.
This goes on and on and on.
Keep going.
In whatever it is you’re after.
Rep by rep.
Day by day.
You get better.
