Everyone is going goo-goo ga-ga over AI.
More and more are leaning on Chat GPT to pump out more content.
AI this. Chat GPT that.
“7 ways to let AI run your business while you sip mai tais from your yacht in Bali”
I’m not sure that was the exact title oof the YouTube video, but it was close 😜
I love me a good shortcut, I do.
(You might remember that “shortcut” we took on the drive back from LA a few months back, that turned into an 8 hour drive home, and not the typical 5)
Anywhoo….
We’re nearing a tipping point with this whole AI thing.
People aren’t just using AI to pump out more content….
Some are letting AI do their thinking for them (terrifying).
The result?
People are blending with the sea of AAI-sameness.
This hit me from a convo I had with a client on Wednesday night.
I’ve been thinking about it ever since.
Here’s the issue:
The social media algorithm rewards quantity.
Quantity doesn’t always equal more dollars, though.
Humans crave connection. Always have, always will.
It’s why I’m quadrupling down on talking head style videos (see my IG feed here)
Just me, a backwards hat, my iPhone and walking through our neighborhood, while I share my random thoughts with the internet.
Nos scripts. No edits.
Real, raw and relatable.
Here’s the truth: Your face, your voice and your weird quirks are what people desire.
I yap about egg nog, pumpkin pie, my love for Dateline, and openly share my 8th grade sense of humor.
AI can’t replicate that (not yet, at least).
Sure my competition might be able to pump put more content.
And be on tall the platforms, because they’re levering AI.
I’m gonna be human in a world of copycats.
I feel this is a huge competitive advantage that we can capitalize on.
YOU GOT THIS 🙌
In your corner,
Adam
P.S. I am not anti-AI. I use it daily, just not to create my own thoughts, opinions or perspectives.
