I wish I didn’t witness it in person.
Michigan’s basketball team was playing here in Vegas this weekend.
Pops and I attended the Championship game Sunday night.
Michigan looked like a JV team.
And got manhandled, 80 – 62.
On the bright side, it was a great experience.
It was a cool atmosphere with a lounge/bar area at the top of the stairs.
From our seat to the exit door was less than a 5 minute walk.
The parking was only $15.
The walk to the car was 3 – 4 minutes.
And it got me thinking…
For us entrepreneurs, how are you providing a better experience for your customers/clients?
Are you going above & beyond (it doesn’t take much at all these days)
I love sending clients hand-written thank you cards (and my hand-writing is absolutely horrendous)
To some clients I send a couple of my favorite books with a personal message in each book.
A new idea I’m now implementing is sending a gift certificate for his wife/partner’s favorite restaurant. This way he can take her out for date night, and set a “new normal”.
Again, it doesn’t have to be complicated or complex.
Last year, I invested $5k into a mentorship, and she sent me a coffee mug, notepad and a nice, fancy pen.
Total cost was likely under $50.
The thoughtΒ counts.
I am reminded of this quote from πππ§ πππ§π§πππ²;
“Most entrepreneurs try and get customers to make sales. Successful entrepreneurs try to make sales to get customers”Β
