My son and I fired up the Xbox this weekend. We hadn’t logged in for months. We could never remember the password. But Saturday we finally cracked it, downloaded Madden (my old college obsession), and hit the field. I tried to take it easy on him… ended up winning 41-6. We played again last night. Only had a small window of time, as it was getting close to bedtime. “We can play till halftime, then it’s bedtime” I told him. It was 28 – 0 at half. HE WAS KICKING MY ASS! He’s been practicing. I was weirdly proud, watching him destroy me. That’s how progress works… Small, quiet steps behind the scenes. I woke up at 6:10 this morning to get my morning walk in. I open the bedroom door, and he’s playing Madden! His confidence is up about 5,491% from Saturday. There were many times he wanted to quit playing this weekend. He kept at it. Kept practicing. It’s a lot like creating content. Or offers. Or anything business related. You suck at first. Like really suck. You get better with each rep. Content natural where you have 5-10 ideas a day you want to post. You launch offers that generate dozens of customers the day you launch. Those things happen AFTER lots of practice. Lots of conversations with people in your market. Heaps of posts that get zero engagement. Offers that barely generate a sale. You don’t need to move mountains today. You just need to take one swing, make one move, or launch one new offer. Keep doing that long enough…and one day you’ll look up and realize you’re the one winning 28-0. YOU GOT THIS 🙌 In your corner,
