Our kids love the Dollar Store.
I picked up my son from school yesterday afternoon.
We usually take a left at the light on the way home.
I got in the right lane.
He asked, “Where are we going Dad?”
I replied, “The Dollar Store!”
He excitedly replied, “YES!!”
We grabbed a few sweets from the store, and stood in line.
I was about to put my card in the machine, and…
“I got it!”
A lady had her card in her hand trying to put her card in the machine before me.
I was confused.
I thought she worked there, as she had a uniform on.
She was paying it forward.
I don’t think it’s ever happened to me.
I immediately returned the favor, and bought the lady’s stuff behind me.
It made my day.
Faith in humanity restored.
