The moment I realized I miss her already

Back home in Vegas.

30 hours in the car.
11 gas station stops.
0 arguments over music.
And at least 1 too many donuts from the gas station stops.

But we made it.

My sister is officially an Austinite now.

It’s wild how fast it all went.

Packing the last few boxes…

One final Dunkin run…

And boom — we were on the road, heading southwest with the Subaru packed tighter than a Costco on Saturday.

We laughed.

We reminisced.

We bonded over old family stories and terrible mid-2000s playlists.

It was the kind of trip that makes you realize…

Sometimes, the real “move” isn’t across state lines.

It’s in your perspective.

For the first time in a long time, we both felt hopeful.

Like, maybe this whole “starting over” thing doesn’t have to be terrifying.

She’s taking a leap in life.

And watching her do it lit something up in me.

It reminded me how easy it is to settle into routines that no longer serve us.

To keep doing things the same way — not because they’re right…

But because they’re familiar.

The real magic?

It lives in the moments we decide to shake things up.

To pack the car.
To hit the road.
To trust that what’s ahead might just be better than what we’re leaving behind.

Whatever “Austin” looks like for you…

Don’t be afraid to chase it.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam
