“I’ll go on Sunday”
The other day, I was chatting with a buddy on the phone.
We haven’t chatted since last summer, so we had some catching up to do.
One of the topics of we talked about was going to church (don’t worry…this isn’t what’s holding you back)
I told him I had not attended service, in person, since the pandemic.
Today, I went to church for the first time since last March.
My church has been open for months now, I just haven’t made the time to attend.
However, when chatting with my buddy, I said the words, “I’ll go on Sunday“.
This was a commitment I made to myself.
This morning I rolled out of bed at 8:10.
Sat in the lazy boy and read for 20 minutes.
Hopped in the shower at 8:40.
I take insanely fast showers (reason #281 I love being a man), and made it to church by 9:00.
