I need to take some of my own medicine.
I talk about being patient often.
A skill set you need when running ads.
I launched ads about 2 weeks ago.
The 1st 10 days got off to a great start.
The last 3 days have been a dumpster fire.
With Facebook Ads,
I’m negative $252.02 over the last 3 days.
Zuckerberg is having me consider spiking the egg nog with some Captain Morgan’s.
I woke up today with $311 in sales.
Most from the ads.
I remember running ads years go and sharing on Facebook that I had a love/hate relationship with ads.
That still applies.
I need to be patient.
I can’t stress over day-to-day results.
My good buddy Conrad shared a story with me years ago.
He posted about in on Threads;
“My trainer who had been driving 30+ years told me, “Never judge how well you’re doing by the day. Some days will be good. Some will be bad. But if you do what I tell you to do, you’ll come out ahead every week.”’
This advice applies to just about anything in life…
- Dieting
- Parenting
- Relationships
- Hitting the gym
- Creating content
- And running Facebook ads
You’ll drive yourself shit bat crazy looking at it day-by-day.
Day-to-day results are like the weather – Unpredictable.
But month-to-month results…
That’s where the magic happens.
Because the right strategy, consistency, and patience are a winning combo.
Like Jordan, Pippen and Rodman in the 90s.
Not to mention, looking at things month-to-month is much better for your soul (and blood pressure).
I have an offer that’s selling with ads.
I have zero doubt I’ll be able to scale this thing up to $1,000/day in profit by February 1st.
I have to remember it’s not gonna happen in a week.
Here’s your job:
- Keep planting those seeds.
- Post that content.
- Have conversations with people in your audience.
- Keep making offers, and tweaks that you need to make.
Look at your data, and make the necessary adjustments.
If you’re planting seeds, you’re on the right track.
If you’re nurturing those seeds, you’re ahead of most.
Patience = Power
It’s the one trait that separates the ones who ride the Struggle Bus from the ones who build a business they’re obsessed with.
