Yesterday sucked.
I’d rather dig my eyeballs out with plastic spoons.
My website was down for 3/4 of the day yesterday.
I lost $84.63 because my ads were going to a broken site.
Luckily, someone brought it to my attention yesterday evening.
I panicked.
I spent hours last night troubleshooting it (read: frantic Googling), and finally crashed in bed at 1:38 am.
The good news? It’s fixed now.
I woke up to $178 in sales.
And an email from a lady named Sarah.
She joined the Digital Product Challenge in 2023.
Her email? Exactly what I needed today.
Here’s what she said:
The sums up entrepreneurship.
One minute, you’re unstoppable — riding high.
The next, you’re worried it’s all gonna fall apart.
It’s a mental mind fuck.
It’s why 16% of the population are entrepreneurs.
I know the YouTube yahoos will have you believing it’s fast, easy, and you’ll be laughing in your Lambo.
The reality:
It’s a GRIND.
Some days, I feel like I just got lucky.
That if I don’t work 3x as hard, it could come crumbling down like a house of cards.
It’s overwhelming — paralyzing — at times.
Then I get an email like Sarah’s.
Then another this morning from Sabrina — who completed the Digital Product Challenge (I shared on IG that I became her 1st paying customer)
Then one from Kai — another Challenge grad (I shared that on IG, too)
Highs & lows.
This ride is intense.
Don’t buy into the “easy, fast” money hype.
It’s hard AF.
But it’s also fulfilling AF.
The good times outweigh the bad times.
Just remember….
It’s not all good times. And that’s ok.
