The “Boring” Plan That Helped Me Lose 18.8 lbs (and grow my business)

I started the year at 181.4 lbs.

Clocked in this morning at 162.6.

Down 18.8 lbs.

Here’s the wild part…

It wasn’t because of some viral diet, 12-week challenge, or “fat torching” tea.

And I ain’t eating kale & ice chips.

My “diet”?

Pretty boring, honestly:

  • I skip breakfast
  • I eat 5 eggs for lunch + ground beef & bacon
  • I eat 5 eggs for dinner + chicken sausage
  • I walk 10,000 steps/day
  • I eat 90% whole foods
  • I still enjoy low-cal ice cream 3–4x/week (the kids and I just ran to the store to grab some)
  • I still eat cookies
  • We had pizza (twice) last week
  • I crushed a burrito from my favorite Mexican spot on Sunday

I found something that works for me, and I’ve stuck to it.

It reminded me a lot of how I run my business.

No fancy funnels.

No AI twins or clones.

No setters or closers.

Here’s my super secret strategy:

  • I put out content daily
  • I run simple ads (although, I’ve scaled that back dramatically)
  • I use that to build my email list
  • I send out a daily email at 4:15 pm
  • I share a story with a soft call to action

That’s it.

It’s not flashy.

It likely won’t “go viral”.

But it works for me.

Most people fail because they’re constantly chasing the next thing.

Or they complicate the hell out of a process that could be simple.

You don’t need a new plan, or the latest strategy.

You need to work the plan that’s so simple it’s almost boring.

That’s how I lost 18.8 lbs.

That’s how I built a business that supports my family.

That’s how you create real momentum.

The secret isn’t intensity.

It’s consistency.
