I run a very boring business. I don’t stress about viral hooks. I don’t have DM setters & closers. I don’t have a 12-part funnel that requires a software engineer to build. I just had a guy slide into my DMs:
I told him I promote my newsletter daily on Threads. It’s looks something like this:
I then told him I send out a daily email at 4:15 pm with a story, lesson/insight and a soft pitch at the bottom of each email. “That’s my business in a nutshell”, I told him. Here it is:
Most will say “No way! It’s got to be more complicated than that“. It can be that simple. A lot of it can be automated, too. I refer to the whole system as the “Creator Engine”. It’s not flashy, exciting, or s3xy. It ain’t gonna win any awards at the Guru Fair. But it’s been working for me. It can work for you, Reader. Here’s the wild part… You don’t even have to be that “good” at writing to do this. But you do need to be consistent. Like with anything in life, you get better with practice. Here’s the scary truth… Most people don’t even trust themselves to show up everyday. But when you do? Your community notices. They remember you. They believe you. They buy from you.
