I feared judgment… You gave me goosebumps instead

THANK YOU!!!

You guys & gals blew me away yesterday!

I had a goal of $1,000 in sales.

We ended up with:

I’m going to share some key insights, mistakes made & lessons learned:

The sales breakdown per channel:

  • 62.4% of sales came via email (sent 5 emails)
  • 26.3% came from Threads (posted about it twice)
  • 4.2% came from IG (posted 4-5 IG Stories)
  • 2.8% came from YouTube (posted about it once)
  • 1.4% from Facebook (posted about it once)

I know 5 emails sound like a ton. And it is, in 24 hours.

However…

16 people unsubscribed (0.002% of my list)

Indecision

MISTAKES MADE & LESSONS LEARNED:

I was hesitant on running this promotion. I worried what people would think. I still battle the fear of judgment. This hesitation caused me not to hype it up more in advance (I’ve learned that hype is the key to launching online)

The only mention of it was an email I sent out on Wednesday, which was read by 2,265 people (29.2% open rate). No mention on social or anything like that.

I wish I committed 100% to it on Monday. I would have sent a few emails letting people know about it. I would have been more vocal on social about it.

Threads Promotion

MISTAKES MADE & LESSONS LEARNED:

As I looked at the numbers this morning, I realized I didn’t promote it enough on Threads. I should have made at least 3-5 more posts about it, especially in the last 6 hours. I typically do this during a launch, and then delete the posts after the launch is over. I didn’t do that this time. I got lazy with it. Complacent, as the launch went so well.

It was a Threads product, so of course, it’s going to perform better on Threads. I should have made more offers on Threads 😜

OTHERS NOTES:

  • 3 people bought in the last 8 minutes. People wait to the last minute. It’s human nature.
  • Average order value on email: $44.32
  • Average order value on Threads: $49.43
  • Sales page visits: 421
  • Total sales: 59
  • Conversion rate: 14%
  • Earnings per click (EPC): $6.39

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Overall, I’m elated with the results. It went WAY better than expected. THANK YOU!!!

I spoke to my friend Harry (Gidon’s brother) this morning about the logistics of sending the money (a bit different, as it’s International). He was blown away with the gesture, and I told him it was the community that SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT!

Harry shared that he, his parents and his sister all flew to Israel (where my friend, his brother, lives) 2 weeks ago. Gidon was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago (I had no idea). It was outside his lung and spread quickly to his brain. He was only 51.

Again, THANK YOU for all the support! I received tons of comments, emails and DMs about it. None of this was possible without you guys & gals. I’m beyond thankful for all of it!

I plan to do a workshop for the people who bought when I get back from Montana, to show my appreciation.

THANK YOU!!!

THANK YOU!!!

THANK YOU!!!

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam
