I paid a stranger $5,000 from a Facebook group…
Because not hiring him is costing me $300/day.
Here’s how I figured that out — and why asking the right question will change your entire business.
I’ve been running ads since late November.
My AOV (Average Order Value) was $35 in December.
Now it’s $42.38
Better? Yes.
Fast enough? Hell no. I’m an impatient MFer.
At this rate, I’ll figure it out by 2027 😅
I texted all the usual suspects:
- Upsells
- Downsells
- Order bumps
Still too slow.
It was time to stop DIY-ing and bring in someone better at funnels than me.
Cue: late-night scroll through a FB group.
I see a guy offering funnel builds for $5K.
Never heard of him.
But the testimonials from high-level entrepreneurs? That sold me.
His funnel (in the food niche) has a $78 AOV.
Mine? $42.
If he helps me get even close to $70… that’s a $30ish increase per sale.
I average 10ish customers/day.
That’s $300/day in extra revenue.
Suddenly, not hiring him isn’t “saving” $5K.
It’s costing me $300/day.
$9,000/month.
$100K+/year.
It hit me:
I was asking the wrong question.
Old mindset: “What will this cost me?”
New mindset: “What is it costing me not to do this?”
That one shift took me from “play it safe” mode… to serious growth.
If you’re trying to grow but stuck in overthink mode…
Flip the question.
STOP asking what you might lose.
START asking what you’re already leaving on the table.
YOU GOT THIS 🙌
In your corner,
Adam
