I slid in her DMs last night…

Do you ever run ads? If not, you should since you get great engagement on your stuff

She said she’s boosted a few posts in the past.

She’s a friend of mine who does well on Instagram (great engagement and sales).

I suggested she set up a few custom audiences.

Custom audience = An ad targeting option that lets you find your existing audiences (website visits, social media following/engagers, viewed videos, etc)

This is what I suggested:

  • Create an audience for anyone who’s engaged on your IG page in the last 365 days
  • Create an audience for anyone who’s visited her Stan store
  • Create an audience for anyone who’s visited her core offer on her Stan store (a specific URL) in the last 14 days

I then suggested running 3 ads (testimonials for that specific offer), even at $3/day for each ad ($9/day, in total).

And run a couple of ads (to that same audience) with talking head style videos and/or text on the screen answering common objections people have around that offer.

These people visited the offer in the last 2 weeks, so a very warm audience.

She could start with $15ish per day (increase it over time, once you find the winning ad)

I believe the offer is $97.

It wouldn’t take too long to for her to start getting at least 1 additional sale/day with this strategy.

If you’re doing organic marketing, and getting 100+ visits to your site/store per month…

I wouldn’t go to sleep tonight until I set up a simple retargeting ad.

Even at $2-$3 a day to a warm audience (people who’ve visited your site/store/engaged with your content).

Just let it run in the background.

The top of mind awareness is worth it alone.

You will make sales (it might not be on day 1, but eventually sales will increase)

I have 3 talking head Reels (1 with my story, 1 with my plan & 1 with heaps of social proof) running non-stop. I spend $3/day, on each video.

It’s only shown to people who’ve visited my site in the last 14 days.

No call to action.

This is purely for branding, and staying top of mind.

Yet, people will still click the link in my bio and buy from these ads.

I know ads can seem daunting and overwhelming, I get it.

YouTube how to set up the pixel (now call Dataset) on your site/store.

Create a handful of custom audiences.

Run a couple (at least one) ad(s).

That is NOT that difficult to do.
